  9. REMARKS: CVGHM raised alert level from 3 to 4 on 25/10/2010. At 1830Z on 26/10/2010 Merapi erupted to high levels. Ground reports have indicated that other eruptions have occurred on the 28/10, 30/10 and 01/11. The volcano continues to show increased signs of activity. All monitoring methods such as deformation, seismology and gas emissions indicate that another eruption is imminent. Close monitoring is ongoing.
